Hassan Bello Visits Ogere Trailer Park

The Executive Secretary/CEO of the Nigerian SHippers' Council (NSC), Mr. Hassan Bello, would be leading the Management team on a working visit to Ogere Trailer Park.

The essence of the Visit is to access the state of things at the park.

NSC Holds In-House Seminar

Hassan Bello takes HMOT on facility inspection of Kaduna Dry Port site

The Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian Shippers' Council, Mr. Hassan Bello would take the Honourable Minister of Transport, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi on facility inspection of Kaduna Inland Dry port site on Tuesday 20th June 2017.

The facility inspection is aimed at ascertaining the readiness of the port for commissioning and commencement of operations.

2. Kaduna Dry Port Commissioning

Date: 1/6/2017 – 30/6/2017 Kaduna

In preparation for commencement of full business operations, NSC Management conducted a physical inspection exercise of the Kaduna facility on Monday 8th May, 2017. The inspection was necessitated upon the near completion of the on-going upgrade exercise of the facility to 5, 000 TEU capacity. Further inspection of the facility is expected to be conducted by the Honorable Minister of Transportation to ascertain the Concessionaire’s preparedness for the commissioning of the facility. The commissioning is scheduled to take place before the of June 2017.

It is expected that the dry port will serve shippers within Kaduna and its environs as well as landlocked neighbouring countries like Niger, Chad etc.

Kaduna Inland Dry Port is officially gazetted Inland Dry Port in Nigeria. It is thus a port of origin and of final Destination.
