Corruption Risk Assessment Commends Nigerian Shippers' Council

The Project Steering Committee on the Implementation of the Integrity plan Corruption Risk Assessment (CRA) in Nigerian Ports has expressed gratitude to the overwhelming support given to it by the Nigerian Shippers' Council towards the successful implementation of the first phase of the project.

The Chairperson of the Committee, Mrs. R. A. Okoduwa, min, said this recently during a courtesy visit on the ES/CEO of the NSC, Mr. Hassan Bello.

Mrs Okoduwa expressed the need to give adequate publicity to the Ports Service Support Portal (PSSP) and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) which geared towards enhancing and harmonising operations at the nation's ports.

Responding, the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of NSC, Mr. Hassan Bello, commended members of the committee for their contributions towards the project.

 He added that the committee should be made up of a standing one and not ad-hoc to ensure contuinity and efficiency
