The Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) has acknowledged that there is a huge infrastructure deficit in the country especially in the transportation sector, it consequently promised to work closely with the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC) to address the issue.
The Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Council, Mr. Hassan Bello stated this when the Director General of ICRC paid a courtesy visit to the Council in Lagos recently.
He maintained that ICRC with the help of its Director General is a platform to actualize the dream of infrastructure development in the country.
The Director General of ICRC, Engr. Chidi Izua said that transportation plays a key role in both national and international development. He also said it allows business to grow by enabling movement of goods and services.
