NSC Boss, Yobe State Gov. meet over trailer park

The Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian Shippers’ Council, Mr Hassan Bello, and the Yobe State Governor, Alhaji Mai-Mala Buni, met in Lagos State recently to discuss arrangements for the construction of a modern trailer park and mechanic village in Potiskum, Yobe State.

This was ahead of the foundation laying ceremoney slated for September 4, 2019.

The NSC and Yobe State Government are working together under the public private partnership to construct the modern transportation hub in the state.

Bello said the park, when completed could create over 5,000 direct jobs.

The NSC boss added that the park would not only be used by trailer drivers but all motorist who might wish to use it as a transit point
