The Executive Secretary/CEO Mr. Hassan Bello, said the introduction of Truck Transit Park (TTP) in various parts of Nigeria would boost the nation’s economy.

He said this recently in Abuja when inspecting a proposed Land for TTP to be sited in Abaji, Federal Capital Territory.

He described the park as an important infrastructure that would have restaurant, gas stations, mechanic village and hostels where drivers could rest after driving for six hours.

According to him, the country needs modern transport infrastructure to support the economy as timely delivery of cargoes and elimination of delay in ensuring that goods get to their destination on time and in good condition was a function of efficient economy.
