The Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) is a government agency under the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy. The NSC is responsible for promoting and protecting the interests of shippers, shipping service providers, and other stakeholders in the maritime industry. The NSC also regulates tariffs, charges, and practices of shipping companies, terminal operators, and other service providers.
