The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Shippers Council (NSC), Barr. Hassan Bello and the agency have both been honored as the Best Federal Parastatal Chief Executive Officer and Best Federal Parastatal of the Year 2020 (Maritime), respectively.
The honor was accorded him by the Save Nigeria Freight Forwarders, Importers and Exporters Coalition (SNFFIEC), in Lagos.
The National Coordinator, SNFFIEC, Dr. Osita Chukwu, during the presentation, lauded the NSC Chief Executive for touching, impacting and saving lives through retrieving millions of naira that would have been lost to shipping companies by freight forwarders.
Chukwu urged Bello to continue the good work he is doing, while using the opportunity to commend the NSC management and staff for supporting their boss in making the agency the best parastatal in the maritime sub-sector.
Meanwhile, the two awards were received on behalf of Bello by the Director, Regulatory Services, Mrs. Ezedinma.
