Nigerian Shippers’ Council Donates CSR Items to Epe General Hospital

In a heartwarming display of Corporate Social Responsibility, the Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) made a significant impact on the Epe General Hospital during a visit.

During the visit, the NSC handed over a thoughtful assortment of items tailored to meet the hospital’s needs. These included mattresses, hospital beds, blankets, washing machine, iron, utensils, generator, standing fan, and more. NSC representative, Oluwasegun Aloko, shed light on the Council’s commitment to supporting communities through CSR initiatives. Aloko emphasized that the NSC, as a key player in driving the economy, chose Epe, known for its agricultural exports as a strategic location for its latest CSR endeavour. The aim was to boost the hospital’s capacity to provide enhanced healthcare services to the local community, fostering health and productivity.

In response, Dr. Jolaosho Adekunle, Deputy Medical Director, Epe General Hospital expressed heartfelt gratitude, noting that the timely donation addressed a pressing need for essential items.

Dr. Jolaosho underscored the significance of the contributions, assuring that they will be put to judicious use. Additionally, he expressed optimism for future collaborations between the hospital and the NSC.

This philanthropic act by the Nigerian Shippers’ Council serves as a shining example of how corporate entities can positively impact local communities, fostering a spirit of collaboration and support for essential services.
