NSC to name Obollo-Afor Truck Park Concessionaire

PUNCH, FEBRUARY 18,2020 PAGE 33

The Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) has announced that it is set to open the bids submitted for the advertised Request for Qualification of the development of a Truck Transit Park (TTP) at Obollo-Afor, Enugu State.

The Council said the bids would be opened on February 19, 2020 inviting interested firms and/or consortium of firms to participate in the qualification process for the selection of a private partner through a competitive bidding process for the development of TTP.

NSC said the selected private partner would undertake to design, finance, build, operate, maintain and transfer based on terms and conditions to be set out in the concession agreement.

The overall objective of the selection process, according to the NSC, will be the successful procurement of a concessionaire with technical and financial capability to DFBOT the facility within the concession period for the optimal benefit of the country.
