REDUCING COST & ROBOTIZATION:FIVE STAR LOGISTICS TO COLLABORATE WITH SHIPPERS’ COUNCIL

In continuation of its quarterly advocacy visit, the Complaints Unit of Nigerian Shippers”Council was today at Five Star Logistics Ltd.

The company,s Terminal Manager Mr. Jaysing Kamuth welcomed the team of complaints handlers from the Council. He said although he is new in the Company, but he was informed that the Council has been a reliable ally since 2006.

Kamuth further stated that Five Star Logistics Ltd is working on the paperless system in order to add value to their customer service.

He added that their company appreciate the Council,s unique way of handling stakeholders grievances and “we will always contact Shippers” Council in case of any trade infraction.

Earlier in his speecj, the head of Complaints Mr. D.J. Orume said the Council as an unbiased umpire will only be happy when both providers and consumers of service in the industry conforms with the standard operating procedure , “when such happen we will record no or less complaints, ”he said.

Orume stated that the complaints handlers are not here to challenge your operations, but “we are here to abet your business investments. The Council will always bridge the gap and compel your debtors to do the needful”.

He highlighted the significance of the Port Service Support Portal (PSSP)a complaints management and portal service support solution aimed at addressing business to business (B2B)transactions knot in the Country and urged them to forward names and emails of their staff for profiling on the platform.

Kamuth assured the case handlers from the Council that five star Logistics Ltd will always ensure efficient supply chain in their operations.
